Born in Tokyo, Japan. She studied at Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan, (formerly, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music), where she received her B.F.A. in 2009, her M.F.A. in 2011.

​​She incorporates her philosophy about human beings and lives into her art as well as her own life.

Currently based in New York City, The U.S. / Tokyo, Japan / Taiwan.
